Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated - Epsilon Theta Zeta Chapter hosted its 53rd annual Debutante-Beautillion Scholarship Program. During the program, students engaged in workshops aimed at helping them prepare for college and future life endeavors. These workshops covered topics such as financial assistance, establishing credit, and managing finances. In addition to this, the participants also volunteered alongside the sorority to clean and maintain Planters Park as part of their community service efforts. The students involved in this program were from Nansemond River High School, Manor High School, and Kecoughtan High School. Together with their parents and mentors, they dedicated three months to fundraising for scholarships, successfully garnering over $7,000 in scholarship funds.

For the past 53 years, the Suffolk Zeta Phi Beta Sorority chapter has been dedicated to supporting graduating high school seniors by providing assistance in fundraising and fostering their professional growth. This initiative encourages students to uphold high standards in academics, behavior, and professional endeavors as they pursue their educational and career paths. The program is just one of the various endeavors organized by the sorority to generate funds for an annual scholarship program. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burdens of deserving youth pursuing higher education.

The ceremony took place at the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront on May 3, 2024. Destiny Carvello was named the queen of the occasion, while Trey Williams was honored as the king. The Epsilon Theta Zeta Chapter expresses gratitude to the families, mentors, and sponsors who supported the participants.
